The Challenge

Our client required to  switch the office space, and showcase to the partially unoccuppied fifth floor, and to relocate the harp wood finishing space previously in the fifth floor to the first floor.

Also, the newly relocated office space and showroom should include a green room and concert hall for 200 persons.

The newly relocated spaces both in the first and fifh floors where designed to meet stringent life safety, ventilation, electrical and accessibility code requirements while preserving the vintage character of a 100 plus old Chicago brick building.
The spaces feature exposed brick walls, heavy timber roof and floor finishes and modern track lighting.
