Adolfo Alejandro Alatriste graduated in May of 1995 with honors with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico) in May of 1995 with the Professional Thesis "Urban Analysis in Mixcoac South-West and design of a 138 bed Social Security General Hospital".
After being granted a scholarship for academic excellence, from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) in December of 2002 where he completed the required concrete, masonry and steel structures analysis and design courses to complete the specialization in structures.
Mr. Alatriste has practiced architecture while working full time since 1997 for Perkins & Will in Chicago, Ruck Pate Architecture in Barrington, and Skidmore Owings & Merrill, and VOA Associates in downtown Chicago where he was exposed to the design of schools, hospitals, office and residential buildings among others. With the community in mind,ALA Design Group was founded in March of 2003 with the idea to provide creative, feasible, practical and economic solutions to the varying requirements of its clients, while sorting with enthusiasm and determination the ever evolving requirements of modern building codes and ordinances.
We believe that our training, experiences and work should be put to the service of the general public and made accessible to the majority of inhabitants of the city. Adolfo A, Alatriste is a licensed architect in Mexico.
